During the event, the inaugural group of female youth scholars made their debut. On September 16, 2023, a meeting of the brilliant minds behind the empowering book "Becoming Sheroes" gathered at Serendra, BGC for a day of camaraderie and purposeful planning.

This marked a momentous occasion as most of the 15 authors met face-to-face for the very first time, discovering a wealth of commonalities, shared experiences, and even mutual friends, instantly fostering a sense of camaraderie and unity among them.

Deliberations encompassed topics ranging from the book cover design to crafting a robust social media strategy, a comprehensive marketing plan, and the highly anticipated book launch strategy.

Each author brought forth their unique perspectives, ideas, and contributions. The gathering served as a platform for the exchange of visionary ideas, with the church represented by Dr. Menre Mendillo, Mrs. Carol Mendillo, Dr. Zenaida Maglaya, and Mrs. Myrna Fabian. On the other side, Victoria Heartstrong's vision was articulated by their dedicated representatives, Monica Maralit and Cris Victoria.

Amidst the ambiance of collaboration, both entities shared their respective visions for a scholarship program aimed at supporting high school and college girls from disadvantaged backgrounds.
